The Ministry of Environment and Forestry of Indonesia will allocate a large budget for the restoration and preservation of forests and land in 2021, reports Antara. Minister of Environment and Forestry City Nurbaya said that the ministry's budget for 2021 is 7.9 trillion Indonesian rupees ($529 million). Nurbaya City noted that the protected area belonging to Indonesia is about 27 million hectares (ha), and the area of ​ ​ protected forests is about 29 million hectares. Earlier, Indonesian President Joko Widodo asked to restore environmental damage as soon as possible. Indonesia needs to rebuild 800,000 hectares a year to be able to combat climate change.
