In Moscow, Ryabkov discussed arms control with Deputy Pompeo

The issue of arms control was discussed at negotiations in Moscow today, August 25, by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and US Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Bigan. A Twitter post on this topic was published by Rebecca Ross, press secretary of the US Embassy in Russia. According to her, Ryabkov and Bigan discussed other issues of bilateral relations. She emphasized that Washington is ready to conduct a dialogue with Moscow in the interests of the American side. As previously reported by the news agency, the American ambassador to Moscow, John Sullivan, on the eve of August 24, announced a program of meetings of Bigan in Moscow, including negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
