Earthquake occurred off the coast of Greek Crete
Seismologists recorded a 5.3 magnitude quake off the coast of the Greek island of Crete, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center. The epicentre of the earthquake was located 141 kilometres south of the town of Iraklion. The focus of the seismic event was at a depth of 10 kilometers. No data have yet been received on possible casualties or destruction. According to the news agency, on May 22, a 5.1 magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of Crete. The epicentre was 58 kilometres from Iraklion at a depth of 10 kilometres. Victims were not.
