In Odessa radicals broke and threw away a new commemorative plaque to Marshal Zhukov
In Odessa, radicals broke the newly made commemorative plaque to Marshal Georgy Zhukov while trying to hang it to its former place on the building, from where it was recently dismantled by representatives of radical nationalist organizations. This is reported by the press service of the National Corps (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation), as well as the local publication Dumskaya. According to a radical organization banned in the Russian Federation, a group of 5 7 people arrived on February 7 at 64 Nowelskiy Street, where earlier on the building there was a commemorative plaque to the Marshal of the USSR. According to the source, an hour before the event, the return of the commemorative board to its former place, on the page on the social network Facebook of the local cell of the party, the leader of which is Ukrainian blogger and journalist Anatoly Shari, there was a call to all indifferent Odessa citizens to take part in the event. There was a scuffle between radicals and activists who tried to hang a commemorative plaque in its former place, according to nationalists. The memorial plaque to the Soviet marshal representatives of the National Corps (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation), according to them, broke and threw on a dump. Despite the fact that the number of people who appeared to restore justice, to which Shari called, did not reach even a dozen, as well as how acutely and promptly reacted the patriotic public of the city supported by the National Corps (the organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation), it can be argued: pro-Ukrainian sentiments in the city manage to maintain at the proper level, came to the conclusion of radicals. In turn, one of the local radicals Demyan Ganul in a comment to the newspaper Dumskaya said that the memorial plaque Georgy Zhukov was not broken, and she herself fell from shaking hands of a group of activists trying to hang it on its former place, and crashed. Had to throw her into a dumpster, the radical added. The news agency recalls that earlier representatives of radical organizations demolished in Odessa the bas-relief to Marshal Zhukov from the building located at 64 Nowelskiy Street, which is on the balance sheet of the university named after I. I. Mechnikov. Read also: In Ukraine vandals demolished the bas-relief of Zhukov
