In the Cambodian port of Sihanoukville on the morning of February 14, passengers of the cruise ship Westerdam began to go ashore, which for more than a week refused to accept other Asian countries due to the threat of coronavirus. Previously, Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand had banned coronavirus liner visits to their ports. According to the news agency, Cambodia agreed to let Westerdam cruise ship into one of the ports, which due to coronavirus for more than a week could not dock in any port of the Asian region. There are 1,455 passengers and 802 crew members on board the Westerdam liner. According to Holland America Line, they are all healthy. Most tourists on board are citizens of the United States and Canada. Citizens of the Russian Federation seven passengers and one crew member. On this occasion, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health of Cambodia stated that if passengers are really healthy, of course, they will be allowed to spend a vacation in Cambodia.
